The start of the Je Vois la Vie en Vosges Triathlon XL will be at 9:30am on Saturday 5th of September 2020 from the Union Nautique, in one wave. Bib number pick-up will be at the Espace LAC in Gérardmer, from 2:00pm on thursday 3th of September.
> Start at 9:30am from the Union Nautique in an unique wave.
> 1900m in the clear water of Gérardmer Lake.
> Follow the yellow buoys.
> Neopren swim suit is allowed if the water temperature is bellow 24.6°C.
> Training is allowed only by the lake shore.
> Cut-off time : 1h10.
> 3 loops at the heart of the Natural Park of Ballon des Vosges.
> The course is rather rolling (long section flat or slighttly up or downhill) but also selective (3 steep climbs/loop).
> Cumulative climb : 630m/loop.
> Course safety : Bike course is totally closed to road traffic.
> Two aid stations/loop
> Cut-off time : Swim + Bike : 6h00
> Transition area closes at 3:30pm.
> 3 loops of 7km around the lake of Gérardmer.
> Shaded and rolling race course made of 80% asphalty and 20% gravel.
> Cumulative climb : 80m / loop
> 3 aid stations / loop
> Cut-off en of the 2nd run loop : 7h40 (you must start your 3rd loop before 5:10pm).
> End of the race : 6:00pm.
> Start : 9:30am
> Swim : 1h10 (10:40am)
> Swim + Bike : 6h00 (3:30pm)
> End of the 2nd run loop : 7h40 (5:10pm)
> End of the race : 8h30 (6:00pm)
The podium of each age group category wil be rewarded from 6:00pm on Saturday 5th of September.
The winner of each age group category will be invited to race the 2021 Triathlon XL and will receive a Scott RC Raceday 60 bag.
