Quick facts

The start of the Harmonie Mutuelle Découverte Triathlon will be at 8:00am on Sunday 5th of September 2021 from the Union Nautique.

Bib number pick-up will be at the espace LAC in Gérardmer, from 2:00pm on Friday 3th of september 2021.

Distances : swim 500m – Bike 20km – Run 5km
> Race is open from age 16 yo (born in 2005).
> The athletes who are not licensed must provide a medical certificate.
> Bib number pick-up must only be done by the athlete himself, presenting an identity card and all the missing elements of his registration (medical certificate or triathlon license). 
> Entries are limited.

Swim 500m

> Start is at 8:00am in one wave from the Union Nautique.
> 500m in the clear water of Gérardmer lake.
> Neopren swim suit are allowed if the water temperature is bellow 24.6°C. 
> Training is only allowed by the lake shore.

Bike 20km

> Bike course will take you to Xonrupt for a tour around Longemer Lake and then back to Gérardmer.
> Main difficulty : km4, the climb of Poli (1.5km at 6.6%)
> Security : Bike course is totally closed to road traffic.
> One aid station at km 5.5.
> Cumulative climb: 260m.
> Cut off time : swim + bike in 1h30. Transition area closes at 9:30am.

Run 5km

> Back and forth on the shore of Gérardmer lake.
> Shaded and rolling course made of 80% asphalt and 20% gravel. 
> Cumulative climb : 70m
> One aid station : km 2.5

Cut-off

> Start : 8:00am
> Swim + transition : 35′ (8:35am)
> Swim + Bike : 1h30 (9:30am)

The podium awarded are :
-> scratch ranking(women and men)
-> categories : cadet, junior, senior, veteran
The award ceremony will take place sunday 5th of september starting from 5:30pm.
