Sustainable Development

Since 2024, all water bottles at refreshment stations have been eliminated, and we organize the collection of bike water bottles, which are either donated to clubs or recycled at a rate of 95% (only the caps cannot be recycled).

We give preference to local suppliers and service providers.

We have partnered with Suez to install sorting bins at numerous points around the site and recycle more than 90% of waste at refreshment stations.

We use washable tableware and bamboo tableware for on-site consumption.

We favor digital communication with athletes. Briefings and other information are distributed in the form of newsletters.

Free secure bicycle parking is provided to encourage sustainable transport during the event.

Athletes are encouraged to carpool to Gérardmer.

The town of Gérardmer and the entire Vosges region must be preserved!
