Access to the site
The Gérardmer Triathlon takes place on the shores of Lake Gérardmer, at Quai du Locle.
Race numbers can be collected from Espace Lac, 17 Faubourg de Ramberchamp, 88400 Gérardmer.
Airport
The nearest airports are Basel/Mulhouse and Strasbourg.

Swimming cap
The swim cap is provided by the organization, in collaboration with our partner Deboer Swim.
Race briefing
It will be sent by email during the week of the event, not before.
Medical certificate
The Gérardmer Triathlon is not affiliated with the FFTRI (French Triathlon Federation).
For this reason, a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to participating in competitive triathlons, issued less than one year prior to the event, is required.
Combination
Rental available from our partner Dare2Tri / Deboer Swim, who will be present at the Expo Village.

Drafting
Drafting is strictly prohibited in all of our triathlon events.
All competitors must maintain a regulatory distance from other participants and must not take advantage of the slipstream of another athlete or vehicle.
Any violation of this rule may result in a penalty or even disqualification, in accordance with the event rules.
Training
For swimming, swimming is permitted 25 meters from the shore. Respect the designated areas and take care not to disturb the boatmen’s activities.
Fraud
Any resale of race numbers outside the official Njuko platform constitutes fraud. Penalties will be applied to the seller and purchaser in the event of proven fraud, and athletes without a race number in their name will not be allowed to start.
Station
The nearest train stations are Remiremont, Saint Dié des Vosges, and Épinal.

Age group
The winners of each age category in the XL Triathlon and Olympic Distance Triathlon are invited to the next edition. An invitation will be sent to each winner at the beginning of November following the competition.

The waiting list changes as cancellations are made. Vacant places will be reallocated by lottery until the end of August.

Shuttle - Triathlon XL
Three 60-seat buses will shuttle you to the top of Poli so you can cheer on your athletes/friends/spouses!
Here are the Poli Shuttle schedules for Saturday, September 5!
1er car : mise en place à 8h15, départ à 8h30
2ème car : mise en place à 8h30, départ à 8h40
3ème car : mise en place à 8h40, départ à 8h50
Et ainsi de suite jusqu’à 10h.
À partir de 10h, nous commencerons les retours avec 3 cars jusqu’à 11h, puis deux cars jusqu’à 14h.
Le point de prise en charge est à l’intersection de l’Avenue du 19 novembre / Avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny.
Pasta Party
Each participant in the XL Triathlon receives a free ticket to the pasta party on Friday evening. Other participants can purchase tickets from their participant area or on site during the weekend of the event at the race number collection stand. Tickets can also be purchased for accompanying persons. Adults €15 / Children under 12 €8
Official photos
Our partner GetPica will be present at the event. You will be able to access your photos via a link that will be sent to you within 7 days by email from GetPica (https://www.getpica.com/).

Extension cords
Yes, extenders are permitted in our triathlon, provided they are properly secured and comply with current safety regulations.
Timing chip
It must be returned by each athlete in the finish area or, if they do not start the race, at the bib collection stand. Any chips that are not returned will be charged to the athlete.

Finish line refreshments
For all races except SuperKids, the finish line is located at the exit of the finish area.
Pick up race numbers

Race bibs must be collected in person: each athlete must present themselves with their ID. Race bibs cannot be given to a third party.

The cycling portion takes place on roads closed to traffic (details to follow).
Transition bags
This provision applies only to the XL Triathlon.
No transition bags are provided for the Olympic Distance Triathlon, the Discovery Triathlon, or the children’s races.
Transition bags
In order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Start List will not be available online.
Water temperature
Depending on the weather, of course, we will provide updates on our social media channels during the week of the event.

Portable toilets are located at various points around the site.
