Rules & Regulations

Race courses : 500m swim – 20km bike – 5km run

Race available for athletes from 16 years old (2004)
Non triathlon licensed athletes must provide a medical certificate
To register, all athletes must present an ID with photo and a valid triathlon license (or medical certificate for non licensed athletes)
Registration must only be done by the athlete himself
Entries are limited



500m in the clear water of the Gerardmer lake
Start in one wave out of the water for one loop
Wetsuit allowed
Average water temperature: 18°C to 20°C
Swim training in the lake is allowed only along the shore

Main hill at km 4 – 1.5km long at 6.6% average
