Quick facts

The start of the Olympic Distance will be at 1:30pm on Sunday September, 4th 2022 from the Union Nautique.
Bib number pick-up will at the Espace LAC in Gérardmer, from 2:00pm on Friday 2nd of September.

> Distances : Swim 1.5km – Bike 40km – Run 10km
> Race is open from 18 yo (born in 2002).
> The athletes who are not licensed must provide a medical certificate.
> Bib number pick-up must only be done by the athlete himself, presenting an identity card and all the missing elements of his registration (medical certificate or triathlon license).
> Entries are limited.

Swim 1.5km

> Start at 1:30am from the Union Nautique in an unique wave.
> 1500m in the clear water of Gérardmer Lake.
> Follow the yellow buoys.
> Neopren swim suit is allowed if the water temperature is bellow 24.6°C.
> Training is allowed only by the lake shore.

Bike 40km

> 3 loops of 13,3 km with the climb of La Rayée (slope section of 15%).
> Cumulative climb : 330m / loop
> One aid station / loop
> Sécurity : the race course is totally closed to raod traffic.
> Cut-off time : Swim + end of the 2nd loop : 2h30. You must start your 3rd bike loop before 4:00pm.

Run 11km

> 2 loops of 5.5 km on the shore of the Lake of Gérardmer.
> Shaded and rolling race course made of 80% asphaly and 20% gravel.
> Cumulative climb : 70m / loop
> 2 aid stations / loop 

Cut-off time

> Swim + end of 2nd bike loop : 2h30. You must start your 3rd bike loop before 4:00pm.

Awards

The winner of each age group category will be rewarded at 6:30pm  on the Sunday 4th.

He will be invited to race at the 2022 edition of the Olympic Distance Triathlon.
